Mineral Interests

The Museum of Northwest Colorado in Craig functions as a repository for various aspects of the history of Northwest Colorado and the West. Until several years ago, we collected only artifacts and information to help teach people about the history of this very interesting area, while preserving it's history. However, since 1998 we have begun to accept mineral interests from individuals or families.

We hope that mineral interests in the future can become a long term source of income for the museum, serving as a continuing legacy to the pioneers of our area.

If you, or your family is interested in transferring your mineral interests to the museum, we can be contacted at the address below, or by calling our toll free number, 877-825-6360. The museum would be responsible for any document preparation, and there would be little or no expense involved on your part. The value of any donation to the museum is also a potential tax deduction.
